Laura Henley-AdamsCCC-SLP, Clinical Supervisor
I wanted to be a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping people. My family is compiled of teachers who have a heart for educating children with special needs. My exposure to this community at such a young age, is what called me into seeking a profession in the therapy world. My family members were excellent role models, and ultimately their examples paved the way for me to follow in their steps. When I first started at More Than Words…Therapy Services, it was a small, but expanding company. I wanted to be a part of the growing process of such an amazing family owned clinic. Being a speech language pathologist is such a rewarding career, because I get to see patients make improvements and be a part of the development within their daily lives. I recently got married to my husband Austin, and was blessed with a beautiful step daughter, Emma. We enjoy watching Vols football, trying new restaurants, decorating our new home, and spending time with our church family.
